Linguaglossa, Sicily. In my first journey in this beautifull region of Italy my first interest in sicilian wine was the "volcano's wineyards".
So i travelled to the feet o Etna a little place called Linguglossa. I heared that until the 70 the area there was a big production of Red wine Called nerello mascalese or cappuccio, sold to cut the low intensity and quality wine of the northern country.
But with the changing of the law in matter of wine, the area was completely abbandoned .No buyer no wine

But some young guy believe that nerello is a great wine and open his cellar from the dust of Etna's dead wines.
Vivera... is one of those little great reality. they took the "know how" of Piemonte's wineries and apply to them "terroir" and the result is .... Graet.
